Tuesday Bluesday is an ongoing music series presented by area musicians for the benefit of the Midtown Harrisburg community. The series is hosted by der Maennerchor, tho oldest social cub in the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania USA, underwritten by the Harrisburg Area Music Development Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the presentation of performing arts in the area.
The club is located at 221 North Street, between 2nd and Green Streets. The series is presented in the cathedral room, above the club, and is open to the public. Typically, there is no charge, but sometimes there will be a suggested donation to support special appearances by national acts.

Membership to der Maennerchor is encouraged, but not required. Typically, the Maennerchor Membership Committee will be present signing up new members and conducting interviews on the spot. If you sign up on a Tuesday, your name will be "read" at the following weekend's meeting and you will have only a month to wait before obtaining your full membership.

Music typically runs from 7:30pm til 10:30pm Tuesdays. Entrance to the club is through the side door, off of Church Street, an alley that runs along the side of the building. There is on-street parking available throughout the neighborhood, with spots readily available on State Street, one block away.
Quite fabulous food and drink is available for all, at quite reasonable prices. The people there are lovely.
