Tuesday Bluesday is an ongoing music series presented by area musicians for the benefit of the Midtown Harrisburg community.

The series is hosted by der Harrisburg Maennerchor, the oldest social club in the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania USA.

The club is located at 221 North Street, between 2nd and Green Streets. To attend these events, one must either be a member or a guest of a member ($3 guest fee.)

Der  Maennerchor is proud to announce that every card carrying member of the Blues Society of Central Pennsylvania can get a membership for $35 (half the cost of a normal membership!)

Typically, the Maennerchor Membership Committee will be present signing up new members and conducting interviews on the spot.

If you sign up on a Tuesday, your name will be "read" at the following weekend's meeting and you will have only a month to wait before obtaining your full membership (after your interview, you are a pending member and will be able to attend Tuesday Bluesday functions as well as other club functions but you will not be able to purchase your own drinks.  Like other guests, alcoholic beverages have to be purchased for you by a member in order to comply with State law.)

Music runs from 7:30pm til 10:30pm Tuesdays.

Entrance to the club is through the side door, off of Church Street, an alley that runs along the side of the building.

There is on-street parking available throughout the neighborhood, with spots readily available on State Street, one block away.

Quite fabulous food and drink is available for all, at quite reasonable prices. The people there are lovely.
